Grand Ave stop signs!

TONIGHT: Come support GRAND AVE STOP SIGNS the CITY COUNCIL MEETING

Urgent action needed!  Saratoga Safer Streets needs you!  As recommended by the CDTC report, the city council was proposing to install stop signs at key intersections along Grand Ave to slow traffic and increase pedestrian safety. At the meeting 2 weeks ago, Commissioner Montagnino stated that he was in support of this and asked for an expedited public hearing and vote for tonight’s meeting.

Montagnino would like to conduct an engineering study.  The rest of the city council wants to move forward with stop signs now so that traffic can be slowed by the time school starts. We need as many people as possible to attend tonight’s meeting to show support for the immediate installation of stop signs. Please consider coming this evening. The meeting starts at 6 pm in the Saratoga Music Hall next to City Hall. Public comment typically starts at 7 pm. Thanks!!
